Sajen Aswani is a third-generation leader of the family-owned business with interests in consumer products, fintech, infrastructure and industrials.

He has led the business since 2000 and has nearly 40 years of experience developing, managing, and driving the diverse business across Asia, Africa, Europe and the US.

In 2015, Sajen played an instrumental role in overseeing Tolaram’s strategic reorganisation into three distinct units: a trust, a philanthropic arm, and a family office.

He sits on several non-profit boards, including the Centre for Fathering in Singapore and The Family Business Network, where he was the President of its Asian chapter until April 2020. He is the current Chairperson of B Lab Singapore, a non-profit network transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet. He has also been a member of the Nanyang Business School Advisory Board since April 2014.

Salman Subakat is the CEO of NSEI (Nurhayati Subakat Entrepreneurship Institute), part of Paragon Corp, a leading beauty and personal care company in Indonesia known for brands like Wardah, Make Over, Kahf, and Emina. Under his leadership, Paragon has expanded its market share, embraced digital transformation, and increased its presence both domestically and internationally. Salman’s focus on innovation, youth leadership, and education has been a key driver of the company’s growth. He has also improved team collaboration at Paragon, enhanced customer engagement, and developed effective marketing strategies. Salman is recognized as a prominent business leader in Indonesia, known for balancing business success with ethical practices and social impact.

Sky Shi represents the 2nd Generation of Topwin Group, the leading real estate development and management group in China. He is currently in charge of real estate, investment, hotel management, golf court management sectors. He established Tong Qu FoF Fund focusing on high technology and pharmaceutical industries, and started upgrading of Topwin Shopping Mall into T-One which will become the trendy landmark of Beijing City. Sky Shi leads the hotel team earning Intercontinental Beijing Sanlitun, truly luxury flagship property, the ultimate Ultra Luxury Hospitality recognition of the prestigious Forbes 5-star rating and is recognized as one of the best hotels worldwide. Sky Shi is planning on the establishment of family office business.

Sky Shi obtained his Master degree from Oxford University. He co-found RENET, one of the largest network for overseas Chinese students in 2009.

Prior to setting up the EtonHouse Group in 1995, Gim Choo worked as an audit manager at Ernst & Young and then as a partner in an audit firm. When she was living in the UK, she experienced first hand how her children were happy, engaged, and stimulated at school. Motivated to pioneer a similarly enriching educational environment in Singapore, she gave up her career in auditing to enter the education sector.

In EtonHouse, she provides strategic leadership to the Group — she successfully spearheaded the expansion of EtonHouse across Asia and is dedicated to constantly raising new standards of excellence in international education.

Her efforts have been recognised over the years. In 2009, she became the first Singaporean woman to receive the Freedom of the City of London, one of the oldest awards in the UK for her contribution to international education. In 2011, she received the Jiangsu Friendship Award, the highest award that the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government has established for foreign experts. In 2019, she won the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Education category for her contributions to Singapore’s economy and society.

Gim Choo has also been featured in the Forbes 2021 ‘Asia’s Power Businesswomen’ list of twenty outstanding business leaders in Asia. She is one of the three Singaporean women on this prestigious list for 2021 that commemorates leaders who have adapted and thrived, seizing opportunities amid challenges. This recognition is especially significant after two years of the pandemic, which has caused unprecedented changes to our lives. She has also been named Her World’s Woman of the Year 2022, an award that recognises and celebrates inspirational women who have made outstanding contributions in their field and to society. In addition, Gim Choo is also an honouree of Tatler Asia’s Most Influential 2022; this award recognises 100 influential leaders and changemakers who drive positive changes in the sphere of their influence in the region and beyond.

Apart from being a successful businesswoman, Gim Choo is a philanthropist. She raised over $110,000 for various charities as part of EtonHouse’s 10th Year Anniversary celebration. She also donated her cash prize of $10,000 for scoring a hole-in-one at the Warren Golf Club Charity Open to Pathlight School in Singapore. She continues to lead the way for all charity initiatives under the EtonHouse Community Fund, an independent IPC charity dedicated to reaching out to children and adults through education.

Ultimately, her pride and joy are her three children. Her daughter has completed her post-doctorate and her older son is pursuing his PhD. Her younger son who started his career in banking has joined EtonHouse and is leading the group successfully as the Group Chief Executive Officer of the company.

Johnson Cheng is the founder of Voyager Capital. He has extensive experience in innovation, corporate strategy, negotiations, change management, lean agile product development, and deal-making. He has worked on multi-million-dollar deals and projects in real estate, healthcare, private equity, financial services, and technology across the globe. Prior to founding Voyager, he ran csc86.com, a B2B industrial goods and MRO e-Commerce platform under China South City Holdings (1668.HK). During Johnson’s tenure, he transformed the company and grew Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) from naught to 186 M RMB. The platform had 160 employees, 800,000+ members, over 3 M SKUs, and a strategic partnership with Ping An Bank and JD.com (NASDAQ: JD).

Prior to his work at China South City, Johnson founded Chi Fan Group, his family investment firm, and was a Strategy & Operations consultant at Deloitte Consulting (New York). He is a member of the Advisory Board of FiscalNote, a member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), Regional Chair (HK) of the Family Business Network (FBN) Asia, and a member of the Cornell EMI Advisory Council . He is fundraising for Island ECC’s Bold Faith Campaign, which aims to build a permanent Christian church and community center to serve thousands of families, youth, children, and communities on Hong Kong Island. He also serves as an advisor to the Chinese Academy of Sciences, promoting their STEM education program.

He received his B.S. and MBA from Cornell University.

Kong Wee is Executive Director of Forthavens Pte Ltd which manages Fortville serviced apartments, real estate and financial portfolios. He is a Superhost on AirBnb and also a director of various companies within his family business, which was founded by his mother in 1979 as an architectural practice.

Prior to joining Forthavens Pte Ltd, he was an Associate at HSBC Global Investment Banking covering South East Asia. He graduated as Valedictorian of Class of 2004 from Singapore Management University (SMU) with summa cum laude (highest honours) in Bachelor of Business Management (Finance Major) and Bachelor of Accountancy.

Kong Wee is married with 2 daughters. He is also an active tennis player and a House and Recreation committee member of Tanah Merah Country Club (Singapore).

Robin Pho is Chairman of the Right People Group of Companies, a family business which his late father Robby Pho founded in 1972. Robin left banking in 2008 to join the family business when his father was struck with an urgent medical emergency. He worked in the original family business which specialised in supplying Indonesian manpower services for the oil and gas industry across SEA.

As the 2nd generation, he pivoted the family business and founded a Cleantech company called – Right People Renewable Energy (RPRE) in 2017. RPRE specialises in helping commercial and industrial clients switch from dirty fossil fuels to clean renewable solar energy, working mainly on off-grid projects in remote locations across Indonesia. The company has won numerous awards and recognition since inception, including obtaining B Corp certification in 2019. He strongly believes in sustainability and that family businesses can be a force for good, and should be guided by the triple bottom line of People, Planet, Profit.

Robin has been a long time member of the Family Business Network Asia since 2010 and serves on multiple committees. He chairs the Family Business as a Force For Good (FBFFG) working group in FBNA and also serves on the FBN International Polaris Committee. In 2019, he won the FBN NexGen Lombard Odier Award Winner at the FBN Global Summit in Udaipur, India.

Robin is a certified member of MENSA, graduated from the Singapore Management University (SMU) with double majors in marketing and law, and has an Executive Diploma in Directorship from the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID). He attained his certification as a Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) professional in 2017, and graduated with a Global Executive MBA from INSEAD (specialising in Family Business) where he was awarded the INSEAD Scholarship of Excellence.

He is the founder and director of SG Obituaries, a nonprofit organisation and action project winner in the 2nd National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) Company of Good Fellowship in 2018. He also serves on the Asia Board of Trustees for Forum for the Future, a registered charity focusing on reinventing the future to solve global sustainability challenges.

Robin enjoys outdoor sports, being out in nature, and is married with twin boys, who inspire and motivate him daily to make the planet a better place for future generations.

Nicole is a third generation of the IGB Corporation Bhd family. IGB Bhd is a Malaysian property company that develops and manages malls, hotels, residential and commercial properties. She has a keen interest in entrepreneurship and technology, and co-founded an Insurtech startup in 2018, before joining her family business full-time. She is currently based in Singapore as the Director of Rooftop Ventures, her immediate family’s private investment company, as well as Rooftop RE (Japan), a property development company that will open its first luxury ski resort in Japan, Niseko Kyo, in Winter 2023.

As FBN Asia’s NxGen Chair, Nicole loves meeting new people, learning about other family businesses, and building safe spaces to share and grow for the NxGen community.

Nicole graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a BSc Degree in Business Mathematics and Statistics. In her free time, she pursues her passion in health and wellness, and holds several certifications in personal training, nutrition and sports massage.

Chen Shun is a second generation family business in WWRC Group and is currently the Group Strategy & Corporate Affairs Manager. WWRC Group is a Pan-Asian Chemical Distributor, with a presence in 16 Asian Cities. As Group Strategy Manager, Chen Shun is in charge of charting the future growth of the Group through overseas expansion, JV/partnerships and M&A.

Prior to joining WWRC Group, Chen Shun worked in banking at Citibank and OCBC. Chen Shun graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a First Class Honors Degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Materials Engineering).

Dato’ Yong Yoon Li, 4th generation in the family business, is currently Managing Director of Royal Selangor International, the world’s most recognized pewter brand.

He ensures that Royal Selangor continues to design and produce beautiful and relevant products for today’s discerning consumers. Since its founding in 1885, Royal Selangor International Sdn. Bhd. has become synonymous with innovation and quality, and its products are sold in over 20 countries around the world.

His other experiences lie in the motorsports and automotive industry. After having worked as a design engineer in Formula One with Team Lotus International and Nissan Motorsports both in the UK, he returned to start up TVR Sports Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., a boutique sports car manufacturer.

After 10 years in the automotive industry, Yoon Li was invited to join the family business, Royal Selangor International Sdn Bhd, and today he is a steward of the business alongside his cousin Tien Yue.

He holds a Masters in Manufacturing Engineering School from the University of Birmingham, UK and an MBA from IMD, Lausanne Switzerland.

Perlin is the Chief Executive of Berlitz Marine & Offshore of her family business (2nd Gen). With 15 years of experience building businesses across Middle East and Asia in the maritime, hotels, waste water management, and energy renewables space, she brings along a set of proven and practical execution tactics which has enabled companies to grow from start-up stage to medium enterprises and public listed levels.

In addition to her role as CEO of her family business, she is an advisory board member of Algaewheel, an award winning, patented, net zero carbon waste water treatment technology, and a board member with Mecapan, an Indonesian-based beauty ecosystem that connects women of all ages to their right beauty service provider.

She is a passionate about driving business transformation, growth execution, marketplace strategies, female leadership, culture-building, start-ups investments and mentoring.

Dato’ Loy Teik Ngan is the Chairman of Taylor’s Education Group (TEG), the largest private education group in Malaysia. It’s 9 education institutions in Malaysia, Singapore & Vietnam includes Taylor’s University, ranked the #1 private university in Southeast Asia and the Garden International School, one of the top schools in the region.

Teik Ngan has served on the Board of the Family Business Network Asia (FBN Asia) since 2014. In 2020, he was elected its President.

Previous positions held by Teik Ngan include being a trustee of Badminton Association of Malaysia, President of KL Amateur Volleyball Association, Deputy President of Malaysia Amateur Volleyball Association and Chapter Chair of the YPO Malaysia Chapter.

Rena brings a wealth of leadership experience to her role as Executive Director at FBN Asia, having held a senior leadership position at Microsoft Asia prior to joining our organization. With over 25+ years of experience in the technology industry, both in the United States and Asia, Rena has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, team management expertise, strategic planning abilities, and a strong focus on customer and partner engagement.

During her tenure at Microsoft, Rena’s outstanding performance and leadership qualities were recognized through the prestigious Gold Club award, which she received three times for her exceptional contributions to the company’s success.

Rena’s passion for sustainability and entrepreneurship aligns with our values and vision here at FBN. She is dedicated to making a meaningful impact by fostering community building and forging partnerships with the ecosystem.

Rena holds a Global Executive MBA from INSEAD, Business Sustainability Management certification from the University of Cambridge, and is a certified independent board director from INSEAD and certified Advanced Venture Capital professional through the Singapore Management University (SMU).

Additionally, Rena actively contributes to various professional organizations, serving as an esteemed member and co-chair of the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce’s digitization committee (SICC), a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID), and a trusted board advisor for two green tech startups.

Mary Ann Tsao is currently the Chairwoman of the Tsao Family Office and a fourth generation steward of a group of companies that started in shipping and led to the formation of the IMC Group. She is also a member of the FBN Asia board, joining her brother, Frederick Chavalit, in establishing the regional, non-profit association of family businesses committed to business practices that serve as a model of sustainability. Mary Ann played an instrumental role in building FBNA, especially the Singapore community. Aligned to FBNI’s charter, the Tsao Family and its family office aim to deploy all the family’s assets for the public good through how they invest, operate its businesses and conducts its philanthropy. She is currently also the Vice Chair for the newly established Tsao family foundation.

Mary Ann is also the Chairwoman and Founding Director of the Tsao Ng Yu Shun Foundation, a regional, operational foundation dedicated to advancing the well being of older people and the longevity dividend in an inclusive society. Chartered by her grandmother in 1993, the Foundation is a leader in community-based eldercare and a strong advocate for older people. It aims to address issues of population ageing, promote successful ageing, and enhance wellbeing of older people at policy and practice levels through research, service innovations and being a catalyst for systems change. She has served on numerous boards and committees of governmental and non-profit organisations locally as well as academic institutions. She has also served as technical advisor and resource person for various multilateral agencies, such as WHO Geneva, UNESCAP (UN Economic and Social Commission for the Asia Pacific), as well as on the boards of several international agencies on ageing. She was also the immediate past president of the International Longevity Centre Global Alliance.

Mary Ann has received numerous awards and accolades, including the Public Service Medal, Public Service Star, and Public Service Star (Bar) from the government of Singapore. In September 2022, she was also named by the UN as one of the first 50 Global pioneering leaders in Healthy Ageing who worked to make the world a better place for older people.

Originally from Hong Kong, Mary Ann was educated in the US since age 12, trained as a public health paediatrician in social medicine, and practiced in New York City for many years before relocating to Singapore in 1992 to establish her grandmother’s foundation. She has been deeply involved with philanthropy and family business ever since and is a frequent speaker on family business and family office, philanthropy as well as ageing and longevity both locally and internationally.

Winson Yeung is a 2nd generation family member who has epitomized the essence of transformation and sustainability in the realm of family businesses. A graduate from Imperial College London with an EMBA from Beijing University, Winson imbibed the significance of sustainable practices at an early age. In 2007, he embarked on a bold journey, collaborating with his wife and in-laws to pivot their family business into the innovative LED Lighting sector under Singbee Lighting’s banner.

In an era when LED lighting was still an unfamiliar concept, Winson propelled the business to unprecedented heights. He started at the bottom rungs, expanded operations successfully into Europe and Northern America. His strategic shift from the traditional crystal business to LED lighting underscored a commitment to sustainability, benefiting people, the planet, and profit simultaneously.

Currently serving as the Chief Investment Officer at their family office, Winson‘s multifaceted role as a father, son, son-in-law, and husband endows him with a profound and holistic understanding of the dynamics shaping family businesses.

He is also involved in the UNCTAD-FBN Family Business for Sustainable Development (FBSD) initiative and was part of the FBN International Next Gen Leadership Team.

Chavalit Frederick Tsao is the fourth-generation steward of TPC (Tsao Pao Chee), a family business with more than 120 years of history, established in the late 1800s during the Qing Dynasty. He was born in Hong Kong, China, and after completing his education at the University of Michigan, Chavalit joined the family business at the age of 20 and became the chairman at the age of 37. He also served as the chairman of Intercargo, where he established innovative platforms to promote collaboration within the maritime sector.

Chavalit’s background and experience gave him unique insights into global sustainability challenges and founded East West Cultural Development Centre in 1995 to research this topic. He discovered that integrating ancient wisdom and modern science creates a holistic approach to cultivating leadership for this era.

Since stepping down as CEO of Eu Yan Sang International Ltd (EYSI) in 2017, Richard has been Non-Executive Chairman and leads its Board in providing strategic and governance oversight. In his more than 30-year career with EYSI, he has been instrumental in transforming EYSI into one of Asia’s largest consumer healthcare groups based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. Prior to EYSI, Richard worked in Merchant Banking, Stockbroking, Computer Distribution and Business Development for a retail group. Besides EYSI, Richard sits on the boards of several listed and unlisted companies as well as non-profit organisations.

Richard was named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2011 (Singapore) and recognised as the CEO of the year by the Singapore Corporate Awards 2010. He was conferred the Public Service Medal (PBM) at the Singapore National Day Awards 2020.

Richard holds a LLB degree from the University of London. He and his wife Mary have four children and two grandchildren.

Law Gin Kye is a founding member and former Board Director of Family Business Network (FBN) Asia. He has been involved in his family business, Law Associate Group, in various capacities since 1992, which has investments in properties, transportation, education and hospitality. He currently serves in Family Capital Centre, the office for the family, and directs The Good Foundation seeded by the family to promote shared value and social ventures.

He has set up several social businesses and community transformation projects empowering the poor and addressing systemic poverty. He has also shared and helped many government agencies and corporates develop their corporate social responsibility and shared value initiatives including Bank Negara Malaysia, Danone Dumex, Exxonmobil, Prudential PRUKasih and others.

He is a founding member and on the Board of Trustees to Yayasan Generasi Gemilang, a not-for-profit welfare foundation focused on nation building by raising an exemplary next generation and strengthening families. He also serves in the National Community Development Committee of the National Council of Welfare and Social Development Malaysia as well as the Neighbourhood Outreach Committee of the Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation. He has advised Government in various capacities on social welfare policies and community transformation and also represented on the ASEAN Consultative Forum.

Shanti L. Poesposoetjipto has been the Chairman of PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk since 2008. She received Diplom Ingenieur (Dipl.Ing.) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Technology Munich-Germany (TU-Muenchen), majoring in Computer Sciences in 1974.

Prior to serving as Chairman of the Company, she served as member of the Board of Commissioners from June 2000 until May 2008.

Currently, she holds a number of concurrent positions, among others Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of PT Asuransi Bintang Tbk, Chief Executive Officer of PT Ngrumat Bondo Utomo, Chief Executive Officer of PT NBU Indonesia Utama, Member of the Board of Commissioners of PT Inter Pariwara Global and Senior Business Advisor to PT Praweda Ciptakarsa Informatika.

She is also a Founding Member & Governing Council Member of Singapore Chamber of Commerce Indonesia (SCCI), Honorary Board Member of German-Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (EKONID), Member of Asia Pacific Council of The Nature Conservancy (APC-TNC), Founder & Chairman of the Board of Trustee of Fitrah Nusantara Family Business Foundation, and also Co-founder and Founding Board Member of Family Business Network (FBN) Asia.

In the field of education, she is currently a Member of the Southeast Asia Council of INSEAD Southeast Asia School of Management (France-Singapore), Chairman of the Board of Trustee of Yayasan Pendidikan dan Pembinaan Manajemen (YPPM), Member of the School Council of the School of Business and Management Bandung Institute of Technology (SBM-ITB), Chairman of Advisory Board of AIESEC Indonesia, Advisory Board Member of Sanata Dharma University-Yogyakarta, and Founding member of Wharton e-Fellow, Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.

In 2002, she was awarded the “Woman Inspire Award of 2002” in the Information Technology Sector in the Asia Pacific region by Singapore Women Business Connection (WBC). At the 15th Anniversary of TNC Indonesia on 20 December 2006, the “Nature Steward” Award was officially conferred to her for her leadership and dedication in nature conservation in Indonesia. On November 2009, she was named as “2009 Woman Entrepreneur of The Year” at the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award 2009 Indonesia, organized by Enterprise Asia. In July 2013, she was awarded the “Ganesa Wirya Jasa Utama” Award as a form of appreciation from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) for her achievement in the development of entrepreneurship in Indonesia.

In March 2016, she was conferred “Officer Order of Leopold” by the Kingdom of Belgium for her services in developing the business cooperation between Belgium and Indonesia as part of her duties as Chairman of Indonesia-Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg Chamber Executive Board (INA).

Dr Lee Oi Kum is the Founder member of her own family foundation, Houde Foundation. She is the second generation in a family business, the Taiko Group, started by her father in the palm oil plantations sector, chemical sector and land development sector. She sits in the family business holding group as a director with her four siblings.

Dr Lee is the chairperson of the agritech company, Ekomoditi Sdn Bhd, servicing the plantation industry players with ERP systems for estates management operating in Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore.

With her continuing interest in the world of “Internet of things”, Dr Lee is a key partner in innovating a traditional barter business into a global trade portal in 9 countries for trade settlement between business owners in trade credits, under the Brand name BBX.

A Fintech company, Kashtec Holdings Pte Ltd was founded in 2017 with bankers, to develop financial solutions for SME, using digital trade credits as a form of cashflow management for settlement in transactions. The entity won a MAS (monetary authority of Spore) fintech award in 2019.

Throughout her career as a business entrepreneur, Dr Lee has dedicated her time and involvement in social causes.
As a member of the Asia Philanthropic Circle , her group of companies provide both financial and professional support to “ Thousand day fund: , an initiative to reduce stunting for children below age 3 , where the right nurturing environment for growth of brain and muscle function is needed to enable the child to attain adulthood with better potential in academic and job opportunities . She is involve as a key partner with APC to spearhead livehood programs in Myanmar.

In line with her medical training, Dr Lee organize medical camps for the last 20 more years to the Himalaya countries of Nepal, Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh. Such missions has a 5 year impact program to shared with the local villagers and government health centers in setting up “ bare foot para medical teams” in the hillside villages . Such villages are in many cases at least 3 hours walk to the nearest medical help.

As a past National Representative of the International Inner Wheel clubs, for Singapore and Malaysia, Dr Lee over the past 30 years, contribute her personal efforts to maintain a framework for women in this, the largest women organization worldwide, to various social impact activities in South East Asia.

Dr Lee has been invited as a speaker with Business Family Institute BFI (Singapore), Family Business Network International FBNI ( Rio de Janeiro) ,Business Family Foundation BFF (Montreal) , FBNA (Singapore) , APAC family business Forum ( Manila) , UBS ( Suzhou) , WCES ( Macau) on the “ Role of Women in Family Business” , “ Succession Planning for Intergeneration family members “ , “ Philanthropy for family business” .
Dr Lee believed you do not need an organization to do something of value to communities in need. There is always resources to provide needed assistance to communities in great need. What the world need is a willingness to be kind and for everyone to experience once “the real joy of Giving”.

Helen manages the Singapore-based members and activities. Working closely with the Singapore Country Committee to effectively serve the local membership, she also provides support to Compass, Women in Business Families Interest Group, Wellness Interest Group and various regional initiatives.

Committed to her role at FBN Asia, Helen engages with a unique network of business families where she values the opportunity to foster meaningful connections and facilitate the exchange of insights. She is particularly inspired by the intersection of family values, business strategies and legacy, to ensure long-term success across generations.

Wei Ling has more than 10 years of experience in a non-profit organisation where she has developed her diverse skill set and her commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others. In her most recent experience, she played the role as the Operations Manager of a therapy clinic for special needs children. Wei Ling is a graduate of the National University of Singapore (NUS), where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology. She furthered her education by pursuing a Master of Divinity from Oral Roberts University.

In her free time, Wei Ling embraces the joy of staying active and healthy. Her deep-seated passion lies in positively impacting children and youth, driving her to make meaningful differences in their lives.

Catherine joined FBNA in January 2025 to drive marketing and events for Asia, with the goal of fostering a stronger community through meaningful engagements and increased participation.

Before joining FBNA, she held diverse roles in office management and marketing and even founded an after-school care during the pandemic to support children’s holistic growth. She also served as General Manager for a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering mothers through art and promoting mental wellness.

A passionate advocate of lifelong learning, Catherine is ACLP-certified and is currently pursuing her ICF coaching accreditation. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies from the University of Greenwich and a Specialist Diploma in Integrated Communications (UI/UX) from Temasek Polytechnic.

Outside of work, she stays busy managing a lively household with her four children and three cats, while also making time for her passions—cycling, netball, and exploring new interests.

Akhmad Saeful is the Vice President of Enterprise Transformation and Risk Management at Paragon Corp, a leading beauty and personal care company in Indonesia, known for brands like Wardah, Make Over, Kahf, and Emina. In addition to his corporate responsibilities in Paragon, he also serves as the Head of the Family Council Office.

Before joining Paragon, he spent two decades in a multinational FMCG company, working in Indonesia, the United Kingdom, and Singapore. His role involved extensive travel across various countries to oversee and manage different business functions.

Outside of his formal responsibilities, he is also an entrepreneur in the F&B Investment and Business Education sectors. He dedicates his spare time to mentoring micro, small, and medium-sized businesses and guest lecturing at several universities. Jay Yang brings a wealth of international experience and a passion for hospitality to his role within the Chairman’s Office at Taylor’s Education Group. Alfred Sek is the Executive Chairman of Excellentte Consultancy Sdn Bhd, a financial planning firm licensed by both Bank Negara Malaysia and Securities Commission. He is qualified as a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) from the American College, an Associate member of the Australia/New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, and a Shariah Registered Financial Planner (Shariah RFP) from Malaysia Financial Planning Council (MFPC).

Alfred has more than 40 years’ experience in the financial services industry. He pioneered the financial planning industry in Malaysia and is also the founding president of the Association of Financial Advisers Malaysia (AFA).
