Victor Tay is Chief Development Officer of Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Prior to joining NTU in 2016, he was the Chief Operating Officer for the Singapore Business Federation (SBF). Victor has strong understanding of a spectrum of multidisciplinary industries from his experience in attracting foreign direct investment and industry development while with the Ministry of Trade and Industry and SPRING Singapore. He also oversaw internationalization of companies to various regions under SBF’s Global Business Division. Victor’s robust understanding of North Asia, Greater China and ASEAN has seen him speak at over 100 local and regional public forum and seminars. Victor is a regular guest on Mediacorp’s business programmes such as Money-mind, Focal Point, Hello Singapore and 938Live. He champions sustainability development as the Vice Chairman of United Nations Global Compact – Network Singapore and is also the President of the Association of Persons with Special Needs.
