Kathy Nha-Thi Luong is a 2nd generation member of her family business, Nanoco, the exclusive distributor of Panasonic electrical products in Vietnam. Together with its manufacturing business, the company established itself as the leading distributor of electrical construction materials in the country.

Since her return in 2011, she has been leading Nanoco’s transformation from a family-owned business to a professionally managed enterprise, introducing modern management best practices as well as growing the product portfolio to include wire and cable management, wiring devices and lighting. She also started a free, architecture-focused gallery in Hanoi to encourage dialogue between local architects, interior designers and the general public.

Kathy was the first Vietnamese national to graduate from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School undergraduate program, with dual degrees in Finance and International Relations. She is also an active member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) ASEAN UNITED chapter, where she was also the first representative from Vietnam. As a passionate advocate for family business and a pioneer at heart, Kathy is a strong champion of FBN in her home country.
