JJ Cheo is a Trading Manager at Mewah International, a global agribusiness with edible oil refineries and processing facilities in Malaysia and Singapore. He is a 3rd generation member of the family business which was started in the 1940s by his grandfather.

JJ worked at Bunge Global Agribusiness in their global trader trading programme before joining the family business as a trader. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with additional majors in Economics and Political Science from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.

Outside of work, JJ is the Next Gen chair of the Singapore Country Committee for FBN Asia. He serves on the Finance and Governance Committees at Barker Road Methodist Church as well as on the Alumni Admissions Council of Northwestern University.
