End of Event
Chiau Haw Choon is the Group Managing Director of Chin Hin Group Berhad, a billion-ringgit integrated building conglomerate that provides building materials and services to the construction and building industries. He represents the 3rd generation, joined the family business 10 years ago and took over the baton from his father, Datuk Seri Chiau Beng Teik to helm the company.
Immediately, Haw Choon began the journey of transforming Chin Hin from a very traditional, family owned business to an innovative and professionally-run company. Within a decade, Haw Choon has led Chin Hin Group to grow from RM392 million to RM1.3 billion, from 70 employees to over 1,500 employees, from cement trader to building materials conglomerate. From upstream manufacturing to downstream distribution, from a traditional family run business to a team of professionals operated corporate-listed company in main board Bursa in March 2016, making him the youngest listed company CEO at the age of 32.
