Eng Chuan is a senior partner with EY. He has over 29 years of experience in tax and has consulted with local and multi-national companies on both inbound and outbound investment into and from Singapore.

His main areas of expertise are in international cross-border taxation and restructuring of groups and family business prior to a public-listing.

He has also assisted a wide variety of clients with their corporate tax compliance matters in Singapore and liaising regularly with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore on tax queries, issues and rulings. His range of clients include diversified large family-owned business including food and beverages companies, hotels, manufacturing and trading companies, technology companies, constructions companies, pharmaceutical industries, shipping enterprises and government agencies.

He is now the Markets Leader for ASEAN. Outside the firm, he serves as a Board member of Civil Service College and he is also the Chairman of Singapore Cancer Society.

Credentials Eng Chuan graduated from the National University Singapore with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree. He is currently a non-practising member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), and a member of the Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals Limited (SIATP).
